Peoples
Democratic Party (PDP) members of the House of Representatives on
Thursday, July 13, declared that there is vacancy in the Aso Rock come
2019.
A member, Leo Okuweh Ogor, (Delta) stated this to highlight the struggles it
passed through in the course of the party’s legal battles that resulted
in the victory at the supreme court.
The lawmaker said the APC having failed should see the PDP’s legal victory at the supreme court as a quit notice towards 2019.
It was gathered that former President Goodluck Jonathan congratulated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on the resolution of its leadership tussle by the Supreme Court.
The former president said
the apex court's verdict is a judgment where there are no winners or
losers, adding that it will bring the party together.
